Anthony J. Perpetua, 93, entered into eternal rest at home surrounded by his family. Born September 30, 1929 in Beacon, he was the son of the late Cosmo and Margaret (Victor) Perpetua.
Anthony was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Diana (Sands) Perpetua. Together they created much love and many beautiful memories that will be cherished forever with their children Renae Perpetua, Wendi DeMarco, Roderick Perpetua, Michelle Frost (Eric), Erica Perpetua, and daughter in law Jennifer Spreer; grandchildren Alexandra Frost, Ryan Frost, Anthony Perpetua, Donald Perpetua and extended family Nicole, Ethan and Aidan Sullivan and Daniel Demers.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his siblings Patrick, Damon, Carmen and Maryann Perpetua and Sue Fitzgerald.
Anthony proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He then became a butcher by trade for over 50 years.
He was an avid bowler, enjoyed golfing and playing cards, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Anthony was a lifelong member of St Joachim-St John the Evangelist Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 5 at 10 a.m. at St John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon. Private cremation will follow. Burial of Anthony’s cremated remains with military honors will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Joachim Cemetery, Beacon.
